I bought this for my son to use with his Galaxy 'phone. He tells me that it doesn't fast charge like he thought it would do. It is a slow charge which is surprising as it is a Samsung product. Not sure if it is meant to be like that or if it is faulty?

The charger does not work with the s8 but yet it works with the s10 I ordered an extra cable usb_c to a standard usb and put that on another charger and all works fine I bought this really because I was having trouble with the lead but now after buying the extra lead it works great.
